The Sword from A Bout of Bad Luck
The Sword is the main character from the animated short A Bout of Bad Luck. The rig of the Sword is designed to squash and stretch and pivot from either end, allowing the animator to have maximum control.
Below is the short A Bout of Bad Luck where the rig can be seen in motion.
The rigging, animations, camera work, compositing and editing are by me.
The character and environment modelling and texturing, and the lighting are by Matthew Jenkins.
